ScashX's most significant departures from Bitcoin

Adoption of the RandomX proof-of-work algorithm, which is highly resistant to ASIC mining, promoting decentralization.

ScashX also introduces a dynamic difficulty adjustment algorithm (DAA) called ASERT (aserti3-2d) as used by Bitcoin Cash (BCH). The ASERT DAA is more responsive to fluctuating hashrate and adjusts every block instead of every 2016 blocks which promotes decentralization and reduces opportunities for bad actors (anti-social miners).
